Review: City Color Barely Exposed eye shadow palette

Hi! How are you today? :). Well, this is my second post and I hope you'll like it.

They say that eyes are the windows of the soul. I really believe on that because eyes are the most expressive part of your face. It shows emotions your body can't tell.

I got this baby from Makeupholics (thanks guys). This 12 color neutral shade palette is a perfect dupe for Urban Decay Naked palette.
I got this for Php 300. This is such a steal! I mean come on, some online sellers sell the UD Naked for Php3000+. It is too much.....well except for Tartelette Eyeshadow Palette. I want that.

This is a perfect palette if your a newbie or a budding MUA. The shades are perfect for day to night look. It is so pigmented especially the metallic bronze (7th color). It is so puurrrtttyyyyy. The black one is kinda off coz when I swatch it on my arm, it is patchy and it has some fall out. The 3rd shade is not showing on my skin. I guess I found my blending color. Hooray! Nonetheless, all of 'em really impressed me.

(Sorry for some blurred pic/s. I don't a really good cam. I just used my phone cam)

This is a great product that won't coz you your bank account. I might get more City Color Cosmetics because I am really impressed. Good Job and thank you Makeupholics!

I really love neutral shades.

PS: Does anyone of you guys knows an Online Shop in the Philippies who sells Beauty UK Posh palette? I badly want them. I want to buy the 4 sets of it. If so, let me know. Thanks!

Let's hang out and follow each other(click the link!)

Review: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks in Fire and Ice, Pink in the afternoon, Rosewine , and Cherries in the snow

Hi! Am I too late for my review? I'm sorry if it took me over a year to start this because I was busy at work. I was not really into my "game" so I decided to scrapped the idea of beauty blog. But I really love make up. This is what I love. So I promised myself that I will start this "again" and I will continue it.

Okay, so this is my "first" post for this beauty blog.

I myself is a lipstick junkie. But what is a lipstick junkie? According to Urban Dictionary:

A human who puts on 3 sticks of lip-stick every morning.
The girl thought she was hideous so she put on some pink, red, and orange lip-stick to look good. Then her friends called her a Lip-stick Junkie.
I hoard lipsticks. I guess I have 20 lipsticks including the ones I depotted. I just love how lipsticks transforms my pale face. Ahh, the wonders of make up. don't worry, I will review make ups other than lipsticks. So, shall we start? Oryt!
Let me introduce you a cult favorite. It is the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
This lipstick line is as old as my memory. That is why there is a cult following with this lipsticks. I have to be honest with you guys. I bought these lippies because of the history behind them. except for rosewine because it was given to me by my ever loving tita. I love the pigmentation of these babies. One swipe is all you need. The only downside is some shades feathers and transfers easily. On my lips, they only last for 3 hours (I drink and eat a lot. Not too mention I talk a lot also). However, they leave a nice stain on the lips.
I only have four shades which are Fire and Ice, Pink in the afternoon, Rosewine , and Cherries in the snow.
Here it is:
(720 Fire and Ice, 415 Pink in the afternoon, 225 Rosewine, 440 Cherries in the snow)
If you can see, they're all in Creme finish. I prefer creme and matte finishes rather than shine and lustre. I simply not a fan of shimmers for lips.

Fire and Ice name implies to the shade of lipstick. Both warm and cool. Depending on the undertone of the wearer, it can appear warm or cool on the lips. On my experience, it pulls on warmer side because of my "morena" complexion.
Here is the swatch on the back of my hand. . .
See, it looks like MAC Lady Danger in creme finish. Though it is a little orange than Lady danger so I cannot say that this is a dupe. Still, a beauty from 1953.
Pink in the afternoon is a classic of its own. Some bloggers say that this is a dupe for Audrey Hepburn's lipstick in Breakfast at Tiffany's. After all, Audrey believes in pink and so are we.
It is a muted pink but not too bright. It is great for everyday use and you can pair this with almost anything. This is one of my to go lipstick whenever I'm in rush.
Rosewine is a shade leaaning on neutral shade. It reminds me of Pantone color of the year: Marsala. Wine colored, neutral, great for all skintones. Bold but not too striking. Actually I wanted to have the Really Red from matte but my tita bought this coz she taught that this is red. But it is ok, I never had this shade before so this is kinda new to me.
It won't past as MLBB because this can be too dark for you. It is not even a pink to start with. It is like a brown lip shade in the swatch. This is so elegant. If your scared to wear dark lips, you can start with this one.
And lastly, one of my faves. However, this is not the shade I always use. I don't know why. Cherries in the snow is as old as Fire and Ice. That's the reason I bought this shade (Don't judge me, I really love the color). Cherries in the snow is a red-pink combo that surely stuns it way to our hearts.
What a lovely color! When I first watch this at the department store, I knew I have to get this. Honestly, this one can pass as one of my PINK lippies. Some says they are red, some says pink. It really depends on your undertone. The color is fun to wear with. You can replace your usual red lips if you want to cop the Pin-up look.
Actually, I have so many lipsticks right now. These are some that I always bring inside my bag. Nakakaloka lang 'no? Hahahaha! Don't worry, I'll give you the lowdown for these babies.
Watch for other reviews, hauls, swatches and giveaways(?) in the future. Again thank you so much.
